Not accurate. - my new review

Strips test fine with solution, but the meter is inconsistent. Even when tests are taken one right after another the results vary 10-20 points.

Pros
  • This works good with my glucose testing unit. Helps me keep track of blood glucose regularly.
Cons
  • Test strips may require longer processing time compared to other brands

They do what they are made for

These work, I guess. Trouble with all glucose meters is that you can test, use the exact same puncture, same blood source and get a very different reading. Says NOT to do so, but, well, curious, you know.so how to actually KNOW if the reading is correct? Don't know. Go more by how you feel. If you are feeling good, the numbers should be lower that when you feel bad. I still test, but feel sometimes the reading is very off.but that could be my meds aren't actually viable meds.Again, this, I have

Works well good for me

I had went keto so I wanted to check my blood sugars. This one works well and is not that expensive for the supplies. I was pre-diabetic, now my blood sugar runs in the upper 80s. I like to be able to check.

  • So easy to use and accurate to within 5 points either way.Great deals re testing strips too.

  • Test strips may not adhere properly to the skin, leading to unreliable results

Test Strips for my opinion

Not very accurate. About 10% of the time I got a really off the grid measurement verified to be bad by another companies test. Not reliable.

  • Can't get in touch with the manufacturer and Ebay won't help me try and contact them
