Review on ๐Ÿ”Œ Smittybilt 2780 2.54 CFM Universal Air Compressor in Sleek Black for Enhanced SEO by Gary Shakeone

Great for you 4x4, not suitable for motorbikes.

I used to transport this in my truck. It's 4x4 but I don't like trails and stuff like that. I use it to tow a boat and do other things with a truck. I got this pump after the one I had permanently broken (another brand). This came in a bag and holds up well, but the material and zippers feel a bit cheap. For my light use I think it will be fine. The pump itself is very good and not very noisy. Hooking it up was easy and all the hoses connected easily. The only thing I would like to see is a different style cartridge. The one on it is a screw type and requires more time and effort than a stop chuck. It's also straight and when my old pump broke my motorcycle tire needed some air. I got tired of using this and realized it just wouldn't work. The air jet had to be screwed too far into the shaft and I didn't have enough room to do it. I was able to put it on but it took a long time to turn it on and off and I ended up losing all air and some more. It just didn't work. All in all this is a good little pump and it will do the trick for me. I used it today as the weather was colder and my tires could do with the top off. I quickly bumped all four tires from 36psi to 44psi. Putting the tires in was no problem, and the pump didn't even get hot. I have a 4 door Ford F150 and the included power cord and coil hoses easily reach all four tires. . I recently came across these. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MXBYPT2/ref=cm_sw_r_apa_i_DSLIEb431G6ZC and they are great for Smittybilt. The long screw on the valve is gone. I bought two packs and threw them in my pump bag. Now I can air my bike if necessary.
