For some reason (perhaps lack of demand because nobody prints photos anymore), it's very difficult to find photo albums for safely storing 8x10 photos. It's a lot bigger than 8x10, it's massive and heavy, but it worked for my project. The grip and lining of the sides feel good, and the faux leather used for the lining also looks and feels good. Can't speak to durability as I've only had it a few months, but unless you're using it commercially I don't think there will be any issues.
