Review on Logitech H340 USB Stereo Headset - Compatible with Windows and Mac by Jason Masango

I bought this because it was so cheap and I thought I got a discount. But in this case you get what you pay for. When I call people who use it, they say I sound "very far away". Every time I call someone through this headset, they respond negatively. I have another Plantronics headset that is better. For comparison, I called a colleague on my (expensive) NEC office phone and asked him to compare how I sounded with my two headsets. I then called them with my Plantronics. Audio 478 USB Headset ($40). They said it sounded better that I sounded "closer" somehow than when I called my office phone. I then called her with this Logitech H340 headset ($22). They said I sounded "far away". They described the sound as flat and balanced high and low frequencies.
