I needed a wide mirror to see the back of my 1988 Chevy Caprice Brougham. This mirror was wide enough but (excuse my language) is the cheapest piece of crap I've ever bought. is this a joke? The plastic is cheap, like something out of a gumball machine. The mirror is really distorted and makes everything appear further away than it really is. The day/night switch is toggled each time the mirror is adjusted. It sits too close to the glass and doesn't adjust easily as the joints are almost tight. Also, the mirror is very light and vibrates, making the cars behind me look like they're bouncing. I had to constantly adjust it (which is almost impossible). Anyone even remotely thinking about it should completely reconsider this purchase. I wish someone could tell me how cheap this product really is. I usually try to leave good reviews, but that was a huge waste of time and trouble, and it was extremely dangerous to keep fiddling with the mirror during long drives.
