Review on SUNLITE RackTop/Handlebar Pet-Friendly QR Basket, 15.7 x 16.9 x 12, Black by Roman Palmer

Let's start with the build quality, it is very high for a wire serial product. It's very durable, especially the top rack clamp which works really well. I was worried that the basket with our puppy would have fallen off the bike. I tried rocking the device back and forth but nearly ripped the bike rack apart. I don't think this will go anywhere, but I'll use one of the velcro straps to make sure it's secure. I can't say anything about the handlebar mount because we don't want to use it that way. I believe that putting weight on the handlebars and doing extra exercise would not be the best option for our pup. The powder paint is thick and even and looks like it should last a while. The upper basket is snug, albeit not too tight. . It takes a little effort to unlock the mechanism. Weak hands can handle it. Then it is very easy to install and remove the device from the rack, just grab the two handles (also with soft padding) on the clips at the bottom of the basket and push them apart. See my photos which should clarify the situation. We have a 6 lb Bichon puppy who should grow to 10 lbs. I see no problem fitting in with a pillow underneath. I think a dog much larger than 15 pounds can be cramped. Bottom line, I think it's excellent value for money given the reliability, ease of use and price of the device. No complaints here.
