Review on ๐Ÿ”ช High-Quality 9" L Reciprocating Saw Blade, 5 pk.: A Reliable Cutting Companion by Joe Fulce

Revainrating 5 out of 5

VERY HAPPY! for saw blades, parts and accessories

They were a bit more expensive than the porter cable blades I used to buy but wow! . they hold up much better in my sawzall! I used two blades from the pack for very heavy and messy cutting. Eventually, these blades will simply bend before breaking. I had to remove some very old, very thick [and still alive] Photinia (Red Tip) roots and cut them into the dirt. I also had to cut some crape myrtle stems. Also, I had a long section of 8" x 8" PTL that needed to be cut into sections (ready to pick up a lot of debris) and these blades ran straight through in 4 places. I just had to embed from multiple sides to the center. This means you can cut fairly thick logs simply by attacking from multiple sides while working inward. Yes, I'm very impressed with that! For the average homeowner, saber saws are much safer and easier to work with than chainsaws. Not only can you get into very tight spaces with a range of saw blades from different manufacturers (the saw blades have a universal holder, by the way), a saber saw has many more uses. Iron pipe, PVC, copper, stone, cement, tile, lumber, branches, tree roots, just about anything you need to cut. You just have to use the right blade! (By the way, I can't rate the Milwaukee Sawzall on Revain since I didn't buy them there, but they're a real workhorse! I got mine really cheap at a flea market. The switch was bad, so I just bought a new switch [online] and installed myself. Sawzall has never let me down).
