Have been ordering commercial urn filters for years but have NEVER come across a brand that has that sickening chemical smell that these filters produce. The smell is still noticeable in two rooms, the filters of which have been aired since yesterday. I took them off the plastic to get rid of the smell. When you enter the room you will smell a disgusting mint smell (sorry for the good mint taste). I wonder if the company sprayed the place where the filters are stored with some kind of disinfectant or bug spray. That's exactly what it smells like. abominable. The only thing these filters are good for is cleaning. I would never use them in coffee urns and will order from our regular restaurant supplier now and in the future. The deal is worthless if the product fails.
