Good idea, but this sewing foot cannot be used. I've been sewing for decades. I currently sew to order and reconstruct for clients. I was hoping this foot would save time as it requires one step of assembly and stitching. After spending over 8 hours trying to get this to work properly, I gave up. The best I could do was make the stitching look like it was sewn by a drunk monkey. The fabric constantly wants to be pulled out of the gap. It's nearly impossible to position your hands so that you can maintain proper tension on both layers of fabric while trying to keep the fabric from slipping out of the rip. This item is practically useless for crafting clothing. Therefore, all videos only show a test sample of the fabric. The assembly of a layer of fabric did not convince me, the folds are uneven and cannot be adjusted by pulling the thread. Great in theory, terrible in real situations.
