Recently I bought a Samsung B2230 for a new setup that I ordered. This will be my first HD monitor and the first time I can see anything at 1920x1080 resolution. Arrived safely, set up was easy and it took well on my old PC. The brightness level is ridiculously high when you first launch it, so it takes a lot of adjustment to bring it up to your comfort level, but the colors are bright and clear. No dead pixels, although I had what I can only describe as "rotten" when it first came out. It was green but soon disappeared and never returned. No problems with the monitor. My only complaint, and it's probably just me, was that the instructions didn't mention that the controls were touch-sensitive. Fool, I kept trying to "press" and of course it didn't work. A quick call to support made me feel like an idiot, but it worked. They were very polite and didn't make me feel stupid, but it was at my expense. Unreservedly recommend the monitor to anyone looking for an elegant addition to their setup. I'm curious how it will look with my new computer. Might follow up on that.
