First of all, I don't usually write reviews, but this time it seemed to me that they were reviews of old models. This waterpik has been completely redesigned with 3 speeds instead of 2, and a new separate on/off button makes it easy to choose the right speed. The case features a new textured grip area that prevents the device from slipping out of your hands when wet. The best new features of the tank are that there is actually a straw in the tank that soaks up all or most of the water and helps maintain water pressure and the tank no longer drips all over my countertop. My favorite feature is the new charger, just like Clarsonic devices, the charger attaches magnetically to the Waterpik external case, you no longer need to connect it to the Waterpik device. Single charging plug in the wall. It makes a huge difference, it's easier to charge the Waterpik and it was the first thing to break on my last Waterpik. My last irrigator's plug just stopped charging because it was getting wet all the time, which was a major disadvantage of older models. This new contact charger is a big improvement! And finally, I love the new light grey/silver color that goes well with my gray towels and white bathroom. I love this new Waterpik and all of its improvements!
