Follow the instructions to add fuses. Directions have a few items back. Add backups last. In my kit the 7 ends of the wires were held together with electrical tape, they had to be unwound and individually connected to the back of the circular connector. According to the instructions, this step is done AFTER the backups are added. I followed directions, kept blowing fuses and causing unknown damage to my car's electrical systems. Eventually I realized that the ends of the wires still glued together were causing shorts. When all the fuses were off I unwrapped the ends of the wires and connected them to the connector, then added the fuses and there were no more problems.
