I don't know if it works as advertised until I pierce it. My two complaints: the lack of instructions on how to change the sealant bottle and how to read the coded expiry date. After speaking to their US office, they explained that a small brass ring had to be unscrewed to release the bottle. The first 4 digits of the encoded batch number and expiration date are actually the year of manufacture and the expiration date is 6 years after that. For example, 2015 is week 15 of 2020, so the expiration date is week 15 of 2026.
