Review on Jeacent Conditioner Cover Outside Winter by Alex Maynard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

To buy the best type of cover, do your research!

Last summer I finished installing the central air conditioning in my house, my uncle and I did it ourselves. Unfortunately we finished the work towards the end of the summer, but that is beside the point. A year ago my neighbor did a CAC install at his house and in the fall I noticed he had a nice cover over his condenser unit which is outside so of course I wanted one too. I started doing a lot of research and finally came to the conclusion that these types of lids (lids that only cover the top of the device or the top half of the device) are the best to use. My neighbor has a cover that is completely insulated and protects the whole unit. Obviously this is not what you want. The reason, from what I've read, is that you want your device to be able to breathe. Good air circulation in autumn and winter is crucial for moisture to escape. Air circulation also helps prevent pests and rodents from settling into an indoor unit during the winter time. The most important part of the cover assembly is the top to prevent leaves, rain, hail and other debris from entering the unit. I filmed and uploaded a video showing how I installed the cover on my device. I definitely recommend this to anyone who has a CAC and doesn't already have a case for their device. Take care of your stuff and they will take care of you!
