I bought this lens for my SONY a6300. I've used the long end to photograph shorebirds here in the Gulf of Mexico, including birds in flight, which require a lens and camera that can focus quickly. This combination of the a6300 and this lens also works great in the hand. Even when shooting in RAW format, it can capture 8-9 frames per second. The lens is stabilized, making it easier to keep sharp images and still capture them. I also used it recently at a fencing tournament and was able to capture clear footage of real moments of blade touches being made. This is the lens I now wear on my camera and only switch to a 16-50mm kit lens when I need a wide angle lens.
