I really like using black phosphated screws for outdoor work. They are cheaper than stainless steel but just as resistant to corrosion. This is a very common size that I use a lot (3/4" #8), with a Phillips pan head and very coarse threads. They bite into any wood quickly and hold very securely. I use them for all types of Woodworking projects. and home use. These are really useful general purpose screws that should be kept on hand in any home or shop. The screws appear to be well made. They are quite durable and the black phosphate coating is even and smooth. I haven't noticed any visible flaws .I've included some closeups so you can see the quality.Overall really good quality screws for a reasonable price at 100. Definitely recommend.
