Advantages: 1. Excellent workmanship: The keyboard and trackpad are excellent for desktop use. The trackpad has a frosted glass, similar to the MacBook trackpad. It has some disadvantages, but it's still a pleasure to use.2. Pencil won't discharge: Some iPad cases place the Apple Pencil too close to the tablet, draining the pencil's battery because the pencil never goes to sleep. Not this case. The pencil is at a good distance and safe.3. Strong: The case is very thick and seems to protect the iPad from damage.4. Good loop (after 1-2 months): The loop works very well. There's a wide range of angles it can be tilted to and it holds up fairly solidly. However, it has only been a few months since I received it. It can get worse over time. Cons: 1. Poor connection: When you use it on your lap or bed, sometimes the buttons stop working or the device loses connection. I think it's because the magnetic connection used for data transfer isn't strong enough. Either make your own solution or use it on a hard surface like a table. Another related issue is that if you lift the tablet by the keyboard or by the tablet itself, the magnetic connection detaches and you drop another piece. You'll get used to it, but remember this when you first get it - don't accidentally grab it, drop it, or damage your iPad.2. Battery drain: This is the main problem. I leave my keyboard disabled when I'm at home, otherwise the battery seems to drain too quickly. On iPadOS 14 with my old iPad Pro 10.5 it goes from 100% to 96-97% in 24 hours with no keyboard connected and no use. When the keyboard is plugged in, I think it went from 100% to 93% or less without use in the same period. At lower percentages, I think it drains even faster. When a keyboard is connected, the battery drains faster even when reading PDF. It drains faster when you tap it, and drains even faster if you have the backlight on. I understand that the backlight eats a battery. but it is not normal that it will drain the battery if not even used. (I don't know if I'll trip, but the battery drains faster when it's colder outside) 3. Heavy and bulky I don't mind too much, but the tablet with case and keyboard is much heavier than the tablet itself. You also can use more space in your backpack when using this. See also: 4. Charging heats up the tablet: It is recommended to remove the case during fast charging as the case feels like it is trapping the heat generated by fast charging. Otherwise, this heat is very harmful to the battery. No grip to hold the tablet with one hand: There is no grip or handle, so I have to lift the stand for the case and put my finger through the hinge between the case and the stand to hold the tablet with one hand . Since the body is heavy, your hands can be injured very easily. Plus, you can still drop it if you're not careful. Application supportText highlighting with the trackpad doesn't always work well. It sometimes selects the text, but right clicking on the text sometimes deselects the text instead of giving me options to pop up to copy the text or whatever. Some applications like Excel and Google Sheets may not always work with arrow/shift keys when selecting multiple cells, for example, because the developers didn't enable it properly. Ask questions here on the product page to ensure the desired features work well for the apps.
