They clearly put a sticker that said 'Auto Focus' and a sticker that said 'Fixed Focus' on the box. I suspect the driver is broken or some other issue that has caused the camera to no longer support autofocus. Some other popular reviews mention that the autofocus works great, so it's possible that these cameras allowed autofocus at some point. As of 2021 there are none. I took a series of shots of the laptop at 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 feet up. You can see that the camera is not focused on any point. It doesn't matter how many pixels the camera can capture if they're all out of focus. My $15 Raspberry Pi camera has autofocus, and this $140 webcam takes good photos of potatoes. Here I am very disappointed. Nexigo, either go back to autofocus or turn up the quality control so that the fixed-focus point of focus is at least somewhere near a typical computer desk.
