This overcasting foot is great. I have worked on Brother and Singer sewing machines. It's a "snap foot" so requires a machine that already has an attachment where you simply attach and detach various attachments to a small metal rod. My machines were already built for this attachment, so putting it on and taking it off was easy. It used to be easy to use. If you don't know how to use it, there are videos on car manufacturers' websites and also on YouTube, so you won't have a hard time learning it. It is ideal for fabrics that tend to fray or lose threads when worn or washed. Using these sewing feet will ensure the stability of the fabric for a long time.
