I wanted my relatively small spice cabinet to be in order. Drawers and the like that you might find there just didn't fit. I finally stumbled across this. I figured being able to adjust the width of the shelf would work well. It did, and that's when I realized that if I wanted to maximize space, I could use both shelves that come with the kit on two different shelves in my closet. No slide is required under the function. And more organization for all my spices. I have a few different spices of different brands and sizes. It really suits everyone. It all depends on what you need for your spice cabinet, but this one definitely works for me.
