Overall a good buy. They're not permanent storage, but very useful to keep the air from spoiling. Worked great for me for chilling tomatoes and meat, lettuce. Some use it on fresh bread, but it only helps if you "rehydrate" the bread in the microwave to make a sandwich. Suitable for freezing fresh meat. Donuts, french fries, cheddar and swiss cheese. I had two bad ones on me after multiple uses. Still a good value. Better than spoiling food. Update 10/8/20. The seal has deteriorated on multiple bags. The pouches originally purchased (VMSTR Manual Cordless Food Sealer for Vacuum Cooking and Food Storage sold by: VMSTR Direct) are still in excellent condition after a few uses. Don't buy these bags. We recommend purchasing VMSTR instead.
