the thing is very easy to install you run the wire to the spark plug and wrap it around the spark plug wire a few times and you install it runs on its so if you forget Turning it off doesn't drain your battery and the battery life on this thing is unrealistic. I keep forgetting to turn it off so it's probably been running for over 100 hours and still showing full battery life, it turns on automatically when you start the bike and it increases the voltage going through the plug wire. The bad part is the programming of this thing. The instructions aren't very clear and it took me a bit to get it right and it only shows the time in 24 hour military hours and only when the bike is NOT running, other than these two little things I read this tachometer likes e.
