Advantages: The high chair has an excellent non-slip grip on the underside and in the standing area and is light, so that the child can maneuver it independently. Cons: The stool will flex if too much weight is placed on the step area. Her older sister is 10 years old (she is not overweight) and I don't feel comfortable around her. I also wish it was a little more height, but that's probably more on me for not reading the dimensions/description better. It works for potty training but doesn't allow her to be big enough to wash hands afterwards so I need a second stool for that and our bathroom just doesn't have room for 2 stools. Overall for the price this is a good option if only used for potty training. I had to pay a little more to get a higher quality and taller chair.
