After some playing around, the docking station works as described. Note, if using the dock for a Surface Laptop 3, you will need an ADDITIONAL USB-C connection since the laptop only has one USB-C port. The third monitor requires you to use both of the USB-C output ports on the back of the device. I tried a USB-C splitter but that didn't work so I have two docks connected to each other.I would assume the vendor knows this, but I couldn't find reference to that anywhere. The package does come with a double pronged USB-C cable for use with MacBooks.
