Love this skin, I prefer it over the actual stock feel of the macbook. For one, I work in a hot/humid environment and my wrists would commonly stick to the bare metal of my macbook, making it an unpleasant experience. Secondly, with my previous macbook, I could see permanent surface damage from my wrist watch while using the mouse and typing. With my new macbook, I was determined to keep in in pristine condition and found this skin. I love how my wrists slide around the keyboard, even when outside and sweating from the heat, I feel less restricted from moving around. I work in a tough environment and these hold up pretty well from constant abuse. My first skin lasted about a year before it began to peel up, bought another and still going strong!Quick installation tip: Do not peal the entire back off and try to line up/install. What I do is use scotch tape and tape the liner on the back of the mousepad cut out to the rest of the liner. Then, peel a little bit of the liner back, and line it up to one side of the computer and firmly stick it down. With the one corner attached, I'll line up the skin to the other side to make sure everything lines up properly. I then lift up the skin slightly and begin peeling the liner back slowly while firmly pressing on the skin to ensure no bubbles are left. Once you get to the mousepad portion, this is where taping the liner from the mousepad to the rest comes in handy, if not taped, the small areas of skin that go around the mousepad would be difficult to line up correctly. Once done, peel up the mousepad section and apply the actual mousepad portion that comes with the kit. Again, Go VERY slow with this process and make sure all skin oil/dust is rid of the surface before beginning.
