I love that it's waterproof and the fleece inside is warm. The velcro broke after only 1 winter of use and detached from my cocker spaniel. The fact that the chest and front "leg holes" are fairly open allows the snow to get trapped and the pup turns into a disgusting snowman. I have since bought one from the same company that goes down the legs and fully covers the breasts and it loves it and does a great job of keeping you warm and dry. I wouldn't turn it down again but would buy a full jacket again.
