You should know in advance that this flashlight comes without battery and power cord. In other words, you can only use it if you buy 12V 2A LED strip power adapters or DSTE NP-F550 batteries. However, it is light and compact; and the ability to fine-tune the color temperature is very useful. The included stands are sufficient and it has standard screw holes for mounting on a tripod or light stand. I haven't used the wand handles, which also screw down, but I like the idea of holding one like an old-fashioned flashlight. headlights too. I used them in combination with the Fovitec - 2x 20"x28" Softbox Studio Video Photography Light Kit. The Fovitec set (of two lights) costs about the same as two of these + accessories but is much brighter and comes with stands and a carrying case. I highly recommend this BUT you can choose these LED lights if you are short on space or need color control.
