So the monitor has holes for use with a mount, but you will have a VERY difficult time finding a suitable monitor mount. They made mounting holes so more people would buy these monitors but they don't really have the functionality. The problem is that the part that connects the monitor to the included stand sticks out. Terrible design. As you can see from the photos, there is little to no room in this room for a mounting bracket. There are screw holes so it's ok looking at the specs and anyone would think they could use a mount with it. However, when you attach the bracket, it won't fit due to the protruding part of the stand. There is not enough space here. I also think this is an issue for some people who want the monitor closer to the wall. This will also interfere. And I don't think computer monitor mount manufacturers make them that small. Even the manual that comes with this Samsung monitor states that you cannot use the mount with it. Even the people who give this monitor 5 star reviews say you have to disassemble the monitor to install the mount. 5 stars means perfect, the monitor does not need to be disassembled. You can use a mount. There are LOTS of videos on the internet of people having problems with these Samsung monitors and using the mounts. It's actually not that hard to do, should take around 10m. It's not necessary though, they could put the screws for this stand on the outside so you don't have to remove the back of the monitor to unscrew the stand part from the inside. 1 screw where the cables go. Then use a screwdriver and pry open the small tabs that go around the edge of the monitor on all 4 sides. Unscrew this part of the stand from the inside. Throw it far, far away Reattach the back of the monitor and reinsert these tabs. Install the screw next to the cable holes. Now you can reinstall the mount without the stand getting in the way. I even found a video of it on Samsung's own website. So you know it's a problem
