Nothing extra needed to figure out how to set it up. Just pull it out, wrap it around the rod and you're good to go. I love how easily it can be swapped between bikes, and it's very durable for my phone, even on the very rough Indiana rural roads (even at high speeds of 30+ mph). I will note that I have a very large iPhone 8+ but the straps seem to fit a much smaller phone. EDIT: I happily used this phone for 4 months and then one of the straps snapped for me. I'm very interested to know if anything can be done to resolve the issue. I will contact support. let's see if something can be done. I want to replace my item.
