How Raspberry Should Have Been

This little device replaces my old Raspberry 3, NodeMCU, Zigbee hub and outdated NAS in my house. I bought the RockPi along with a tall aluminum case and an NVMe adapter. RockPi serves primarily as my hassle.io server, controls all the Tasmota devices in my house including a ws2812b light bar plugged directly into its I/O, as a Zigbee hub with a USB dongle, and finally as my NAS -Server / uPnP, all in one tiny package. Cube with passive cooling. In my opinion, it surpasses RB in terms of speed and reliability. I boot debiam from a 32GB eMMC and have all the files on my nVME SSD without worrying about corrupted SD cards.

Pros
  • The IO Performance ROCK Pi development board has multiple storage options and offers read and write performance on external drives. It improves workflow, copying, backup and file sharing.
Cons
  • Not bad
