We bought a large (over 3ft high and 4ft long) inflatable duck and had no idea how to hand inflate it. This pump was perfect. We used it as directed: inflate for 5 minutes, let pump cool for 5 minutes, then another 2-3 minutes and voila! Perfectly inflated duck with no effort. (We used the smallest nozzle. Others can work for 10 minutes before needing a 5 minute break). I was surprised how small this pump is. The box it comes in is 6 x 5 x 4 inches. I haven't tried using it to drain the duck, so I can't speak on that aspect. (Who wants to call off such a cute duck?). Please note that this pump is not designed for "high pressure" products such as hoops, basketballs, balloons or exercise balls. But if you have an air mattress, pool toys or other inflatable toys, then this is what you need.
