I bought my wife a jeep instead of factory rubber. Other reviewers have indicated that they are not adjustable. After playing around for an hour after installing it, I found that the adjustment is how tight you tighten the screws at the top of the clamp. I've found them almost impossible to work with if you overtighten them without loosening the screws. The trick is loosening them until they work properly, then remembering how many turns it takes to unscrew them, add locking threads, and reassemble. You must use a lock-on or lock-on threaded brand or the bolts will vibrate when tightened. They've been working great for a month now with no opening/closing issues. I recommend using a medium lock instead of a permanent one. Just in case you need to make any adjustments after installation.
