Review on 💻 Vantec USB 3.0 SATA IDE Adapter ISA225 by Chris Rigsby

Setup was easy. It seemed to be exactly what I wanted. Worked once. I followed the instructions and the computer recognized the drive immediately. I started setting up the disk and everything was going fine until the error came up. I closed everything and restarted, but this time it didn't recognize the drive. Now the drive is completely dead. I thought maybe I just had a bad ride, so I grabbed another one and tried again. Up like the first. I tried transferring some data to it and it started and then just stopped. Drive is dead. I don't know what this thing does with hard drives, but it's no good. I have used many different adapters like this and have never had any problems. Unfortunately I have some time before I even open it, so the return window is closed. I don't trust that at all. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you want to destroy your hard drive. Maybe I just misunderstood. I tried going to the manufacturer's website but it doesn't even load.
