In my opinion, ALL mains cables for ALL devices that need this type should be angled! This greatly simplifies the job as there is no huge cable sticking out of the back of the device. I used it for an audio mixer on my desk; The power cord that came with the blender stuck out a good five or six inches, making it impossible for the blender to sit flush with the wall my desk is leaning against on my desk. But now my audio mixer is almost flush with the wall and now it sits perfectly on my desk. EVERYONE. STRENGTH. CORD. GOT TO. BE. CORNER.
