My dogs LOVE this food! But as I delve deeper into the keto lifestyle, I'm learning that the protein macro is what we need to achieve and fat is supposed to be the balance. Especially if you are trying to lose weight. I have found that while my dogs enjoy this food they gain weight after switching to keto. I think the macros should be adjusted to suit a keto-adapted (already fat-adapted) dog. Also, I constantly pay attention to the texture and appearance of food. The last bag we received looked darker and didn't seem to sit well in her stomach (more runny poo). Apart from that, I have never experienced my dogs being so happy about food.
