I've never seen worse! Horrible purchase.

The aforementioned flaw is why I can't wholeheartedly endorse this webcam ;)
And sure, I'm happy with Logitech; the company makes quality mouse and other hardware, but, as with any producer, it aims to keep customers from getting too proud to shell out for replacement parts. For others, this webcam only lasted two years, but I've had mine for over three. This is a bad idea!

Pros

A simple, straightforward webcam that everyone can use.

Cons

After a few years, the webcam stopped operating owing to overheating caused by its frequent connection to USB. Although I rarely utilized the camera, I can attest that the microphone is adequate. The camera's green light is on, but the image is completely white (it turns out the webcam has poor solder on the light-sensitive board, so either it needs to be heated or someone managed to just slip a piece of paper over the lens). For others, this webcam only lasted two years, but I've had mine for over three. This is a bad idea!
