Just received this and am very happy with it. It doesn't have a flashlight, it doesn't have a handle, it doesn't have a solar panel and all that, but I don't need any of that. Without that they left it small, simple, light and seems very functional. I like the auto-off feature, NOAA weather monitoring even when it's off, and the case feels well made. This came with a throw antenna and headphones. I learned that this antenna needed to be plugged in (or headphones acting as the antenna) to receive NOAA and VHF weather channels. It's also nice that it plays stereo FM with headphones. I've gotten this for camping and hiking, especially in remote locations out of cell phone coverage, listening to sports while fishing, at the stadium, etc. A speaker makes it more convenient, especially for weather alerts. Very happy with the purchase so far.
