Review on SmartChoice Small Keepsake Cremation Urn For Human Ashes - Ideal For Funerals And Memorials by Jay Hill

Money saver best in my review

This is certainly NOT a review I want to do. My 28 year old son hadn’t been out of prison but a week and a day when I discovered him dead in his bathtub. It was a tragedy, yes, but apparently he hadn’t kicked his heroin use after all. A whole year and two months in prison may have "dried him out” so to speak, but my hopes that he’d learned his lesson were dashed in horror that fateful morning. All said, I had no life insurance on him because I never even conceived of having it on anyone but myself. He had never once discussed his desires, and I simply couldn’t afford the $10,000+ for a burial plot and casket. Now I’m a diehard conservative capitalist, but it didn’t take long to discover the absolute need for strict "big government” regulations that need to be enacted on these hucksters in the burial business. It’s absolutely crazy and they certainly deserve the title of charlatans. While I can’t prove it because I didn’t actually buy the $500 urn that was offered, this one looks exactly like the one in the funeral home’s catalog. Why not? I literally paid $100 just for a black plastic box to carry home his cremated remains. I don’t feel in the very least cheap, greedy, or disrespectful in any way for buying this one for less than $60. I dare say it’s every bit the quality, sturdiness, and appeal of anything offered in the catalog.

Pros
  • It arrived quicker than they stated. The quality is very good.Personalization is perfect.Very pleased.
Cons
  • The urn might not be able to be engraved or decorated with a personalized message, taking away from its sentimental value
