Mechanism looks solid; The lock on the back provides security. I've been riding this for a little over a week, holding a Moto Edge with a pannier on a Triumph Speed triple handlebar and doing 13 miles one-way through the streets of Denver and the Interstate - not the worst roads in the country. but not the best. or. So far there have been no problems from vibrations or front wheel hits on rough roads. If things continue as they are I would recommend this mount and maybe buy another one for my other bike when it's finally mounted. I will update this review in six months.
