So far this Mitsubishi sharpener is excellent. He's much better built than the Karl.
So far this Mitsubishi sharpener is excellent. It is much better made than the Carl CP-300 pencil sharpener that I used previously. We study at home and sharpen quite a lot of pencils every day. Carl lasted about 6 months before he collapsed and stopped holding pencils properly. Better built in every way, this one sharpens pencils sharper and also has a nifty button on the handle that when pressed gives a blunt point for crayons or small children. It should be noted that this sharpener tends to sharpen ticondra pencils slightly off-center (not bad, just not perfect), but it does a good job with all the other brands we've used. In summary I can say that this is the best sharpener I have ever used.
