All of my soft close cabinet hinges started going about a year after I bought my house. These replacement hinges are drop in replacements for the failed hinges, and I've been replacing the old ones as they fail. So far, the new hinges are holding up (after 1 month). I guess we'll see in a year or two how they hold up.Pros: Super easy to replace. Helpful to have a 2nd person hold the cabinet door for you, but the holes are standardized so its just (1) remove 3 screws from the old hinge and remove the old hinge, (2) put the new hinge in its place and re-screw those 3 screws back in, and (3) adjust the balancing screws (the ones you can't remove) to fine tune the door so it's level and doesn't rub.Cons: None so far. Hopefully they last longer the ones my builder used.
