Good as an alarm clock

Not loud enough and I don't really think the term "alarm clock" is appropriate. My decibel meter read 80 decibels, not 120 dB as stated in the product description. While it's nice that you can select a tone or tone and the volume is adjustable, they don't stay on long enough when the door is open for me to consider them an alarm clock device. The security device that indicates it is an alarm should remain on until it is disarmed, not sound for about 15 seconds, and then stop. Being on the same floor as the door they are placed on will get your attention. I was upstairs in the office working with the desktop fan running and could barely hear Wuloo when the door was open, I would have had to buy an extra Wuloo receiver to hear it upstairs. The GE Personal Security window/door alarm lacks the features mentioned, and while it wasn't much louder (85dB), I could hear it upstairs when the door was open. I hadn't thought of that, but the neighbor pointed out that he could quickly remove the sensor from its mount, mute the sound with his hand, and turn it off before opening the door. It's no good if you're trying to control when people leave the premises, so I'll use GE blocks for other doors. After installing the GE unit, you will need to pry it off the door to remove it. Also, you don't have to remove the GE unit to charge or change the batteries.
