I put this fan in my chicken coop to keep my girls cool and it works great! I used strong velcro to attach it to the top of the stall, making it easy for me to take it off and charge it. (It has a really good hanger, but I didn't have space to hang it in my chicken coop, so I went with velcro.) In the evenings, I usually turn the fan on to medium to cool down. air out the chicken coop before the girls settle in for the night. I leave it on and it usually still works when I check on everyone in the morning. I gave 4 stars for the battery life alone as it doesn't last the advertised 40 hours even on a low setting but considering it's just a bunch of small batteries, 16 or so hours it works really great! I love that the fan itself has a HUGE range of motion so I can point it anywhere. In addition, it's stiff enough to hold position even if it takes a little hit. One morning I found it had fallen off the velcro (NOT an issue with the product itself as I added velcro) and one of my hens sat on it but everything was fine, no damage! It's also pretty quiet and didn't scare the girls when I first installed it. While I don't need LED lights for my application I will say they are VERY bright at max brightness and if used for camping or anything else they would make a great tent light! All in all very satisfied and highly recommended.
