Review on 🚰 Aquatix 32oz FlipTop Insulated Sport Bottle - Pure Stainless Steel by Christian Bar

I am satisfied with this bottle. TL;DR = Everything is fine. Grab these if you want a decent insulated liter bottle with a flip top that works well. That's a good size. Holds a liter of water but still fits (barely) in my standard (but flexible plastic) bike bottle cage. It is about 3 3/8 inches in diameter and only 11 ½ inches tall with the lid closed. I can grip it well with my big manly hands. It's a little heavy but not bulky. Maybe a bit too high for those used to smaller/lighter bottles, or for those with small hands, but I'd say that's the upper limit for comfortable one-handed use (which is important when dealing with a sports bottle). The thread for the cap is on the outside of the neck if that is important to you. The lid itself is pretty close to perfect. The plastic it's made of is thick and strong enough that I'm not concerned about its durability. The button and locking mechanism work well and are easy to operate with a touch. No leaks. Hinged lid opens and stays open; Don't swing on your face or make a mess when trying to cast. The body of the flip-top lid isn't very tight when closed, allowing fine dust to get in if it flies around, but the silicone nipple on the spout keeps the container securely closed itself. Tighter tolerances on the plastic flip cover and/or other gaskets where they meet would be a welcome addition, but probably unnecessary for most users. There's a small hole on the back of the lid for the included key ring (which also has a lightweight carabiner attached) and it feels solid enough. I wish the hole was a little bigger so we could just use our clip of choice there, but it's too small a hole for anything other than a key ring or something. Minor complaints in general. The lid seems to be the best currently available for these stainless steel vacuum flasks. The overall design is good. I like the bottom sealed as opposed to a small patch of epoxy or whatever covering the spot weld at the bottom of the container like other cheaper bottles. If the edge of the cap were slightly beveled at the bottom, it would certainly be easier to fit that large bottle into cup holders and bottle cages, which are *quite* large but bearable. Minimal branding on the bottle is a good thing as I'm not a fan of buying a product for personal use, just making it look like I'm wearing an advertisement for a company I've paid for, to buy the products. BTW, thanks to Aquatix for posting relevant information on the bottom of the bottle. "18/8 Stainless Steel - 32 oz (1000 ml) - Holds hot & cold liquids - Do not microwave - Do not freeze - Hand wash" is printed (perhaps etched?) on the bottom cover. The stainless steel finish is pretty standard and looks good. Yes, and an extra silicone gasket for the lid is included in the box in case the original is lost or worn out. Speaking of packaging, this bottle (and the smaller version I bought) arrived well protected and in perfect condition. There are no complaints about the soundproofing. Well, to be honest, I haven't run it through semi-scientific testing at home, but it seems to work as advertised. The cold was cold and the heat was hot until it was all drunk. On hot days the water inside was (apparently) as cold as it was a few hours ago. Should there be any problems in the future (mine is still new) I will update this review. In the end, after buying several different (competing) stainless steel vacuum flasks, this is my favorite. I will donate the rest and buy more of these Aquatix bottles in different sizes.
