I bought this attachment specifically because I love to bake and need something that scrapes off the sides of the bowl when I mix (without paying a decent price for the KitchenAid brand too to count). Based on the information and feedback provided, this appears to have been the case. I have a 5 liter professional series blender and it doesn't scrape the rim of the bowl like it says. I've searched and searched for a mixer attachment to go with this mixer (since it's a bowl lifter instead of a tilting head). I should have just gone with the brand name because it doesn't do what it should.
