The color on the two hanging toys is very poor

I put this in my cockatiel's cage and when he finally got to it he really liked it but two hanging lines of intertwined circles on both Pages (one blue and one red) have very bad dye. After playing with it for less than an hour, I went after it and noticed that all of its feathers around its beak were red from one of their dyes. I cut them off with scissors, the rest seems safe, but that scared me. Who knows what chemicals are in it and I don't think the color is coming from my cute white boy face.
