Perfect for your trip to Utah. We had enough water for all our hikes, the construction seems very good and they worked without any problems. I would recommend putting on the hose first and then adding water. The hoses were difficult to put on and I found I had to push really hard, but I managed to do it. For cleaning, you can use a wooden stick and place the bags on the stick to allow them to dry completely. I ran hot water through the hoses to clean them and they had a slight plastic taste at first but after a few uses it went away. The only thing I would like is something to cover the exposed tubing that goes to the mouth. During the hike, the pipe gets hot, so your first few sips will be warm water, and you'll have to drink that patch of water to progress to cooler water. I think the plastic connector for the mouth cover will crack over time, that's the only part that seems flimsy. The bladder seems strong and can hold 2 liters of ice water. There was a place to store snacks which was good.
