I read reviews and information and I chose this lamp. I have a special OTT bedside lamp for crocheting in bed, but I wanted something brighter for reading. My bed frame is about 1.5 inches wide and opens wide enough to be attached. I'd say it barely fits, but it stays put because it has special handles to keep it in place. A USB cable was included for connection to a computer. Load. It turned out to be excellent. It actually has three settings. You just press and it gets bright, another press makes it brighter and the last press makes it brightest. I was surprised by the quality of the brightness of the light. I feel like I can do other things with this lamp. The power is amazing. It was a great price and I'm glad I tried it. I can buy another one for another room!
