I'm very picky about water bottles for my kids. We've had several of these in a few years. Stainless steel of this brand is a high quality and safe steel. The varnish is very resistant, so it retains an attractive appearance for a long time. There are also no complaints about the soundproofing. I also love that you can thread the locking strap through the belt loop and then close the bottle by securing it without the carabiner. The only issue we had was that the silicone seal inside the lid had warped. If you don't notice the bottle and close it, it will leak. Be careful not to lose this seal down the drain when washing! Our cat even chewed on the one we left by the sink. What saved us is that we got an extra seal on the first few bottles but they seem to have stopped including them now. Too bad, without them the bottles are useless. However, I just came back to buy a larger size for my older one. With care, they are a great product.
