The camera itself is great, it has great resolution, good zoom, night mode is amazing. POE only works with 40w+, ours are 20w and it does not work without the power.The software isn't the best however. You can get it to work, but it does not have everything I want. You can't do custom schedules. You can't customize the motion tracking (you can change some settings but it doesn't zoom in well when the car is incoming towards the camera). The software that comes with it doesn't work with the functions it has, you have to set them all up basically via a web browser. Support doesn't always respond.All in all, it's a good camera, but a bit limited in the software. But we still like it and may get more. The night mode looks great, it's really dark around here, yet we were able to see everything at night. We wanted to track cars/people coming into our parking lot. At night it's too bright on the licenses plate, but in the day you can clearly see them. We have the 20x zoom version, and it zooms really well (attached vid/pic).I attached a video/picture, but it doesn't do it justice (amazon probably makes them compressed to save space).
